Thermochromic

Thermochromic (heat colour changing) powders: the colour changes with temperature and changes back again, as many times as you like. Warm them with body heat, warm water or a hairdryer and they lift to their light state; cool them and the deep colour returns. Each listing states its change temperature. The change shows most clearly over a pale base, and they keep longest stored out of direct sunlight.
